What is ThreeLac?
ThreeLac is an innovative probiotic, which means that it contains live beneficial digestive bacteria. In fact, ThreeLac contains three complementary lactic acid producing bacteria.  Much of ThreeLac’s success is due to a special micro-encapsulation process that gets more of the beneficial bacteria safely through the stomach to do their work. How does ThreeLac work?
ThreeLac works by promoting the growth of naturally beneficial bacteria in the intestinal tract.
Firstly, ThreeLac’s bacteria view unwelcome micro-organisms like yeasts as food. Yeast cell walls are made of chitin ["kite-in"], cellulose and complex oligosaccharides. ThreeLac's bacteria digest these substances.
Secondly, ThreeLac's bacteria produce lactic acid, a natural organic acid that promotes good intestinal health.

How do I take ThreeLac?
A box of ThreeLac contains 60 sachets of pleasant, lemon-tasting powder. Take ThreeLac at mealtimes by tearing off the top of a sachet and tip the powder onto your tongue. Let the powder dissolve and swallow with a glass of water.
Start with 1 ThreeLac sachet a day for the first 10/14 days before increasing to 2 sachets a day. After a month or so some individuals will benefit from a higher intake - 3 or even 4 a day. Most people start to feel a difference within a month of starting the ThreeLac programme, but it does vary from one individual to another - it can take up to 3 months to re-balance the intestinal microflora. After that, many people then find that taking 1 sachet of ThreeLac every other day helps to maintain good digestive health.

It's a good idea to take a high quality acidophilus / bifidus probiotic at the same time, or try new FiveLac
